well, Comedy Actor and Actress are locked, but both Drama Actor and Actress are fluid. actually imo all the Drama categories are, and the Comedy Supporting ones as well.

Suggestion: "The Magic of David Copperfield V: The Statue of Liberty Disappears" for Rhys and Russell, no? It was kind of like "Whitecaps" lite. And it even has a time jump!

I said at the time that it was a potentially winning tape for Russell if the Emmys were aware of The Americans and if tapes still mattered. One out of two ain't bad!

Wait, I think I'm misremembering. I think it was only the supporting actors from miniseries who submited episodes.

Kyle Chandler, Bloodline, "Part 23" [very strong episode]
Rami Malek, Mr. Robot, "eps1.0_hellofriend.mov" [pilot should be the better option for the new viewers, I guess]
Bob Odenkirk, Better Call Saul, "Fifi" [because in the latter episodes Michael McKean definetely overshadows Odenkirk]
Matthew Rhys, The Americans, "The Magic of David Copperfield V: The Statue of Liberty Disappears"
Liev Schreiber, Ray Donovan, "Exsuscito" [another very strong episode]
Kevin Spacey, House of Cards, "Chapter 52"

Claire Danes, Homeland, "Why Is This Night Different?"
Keri Russell, The Americans, "A Roy Rogers in Franconia" [I know, it's not popular choice, but still]
Robin Wright, House of Cards, "Chapter 49"

Jonathan Banks, Better Call Saul, "Bali Ha'i"
Michael Kelly, House of Cards, "Chapter 52"
Ben Mendelsohn, Bloodline, "Part 23" [dinner scene with Sam Shepard] or "Part 18" [restaurant scene with Nolan]
    Jon Voight, Ray Donovan, "Exsuscito"
