Damien Chazelle broke the record as the youngest Best Director winner.

Emma Stone is the first acting Oscar winner from Arizona.

Casey Affleck and Ben Affleck are the next group of brothers with Oscars.

Iran joins to Argentina, Austria with 2 Oscars. And with the exception of Japan (4 Oscars), Iran is the most awardable Asian country

Farhadi also joins the likes of Bergman, Fellini, Kurosawa, Clément, and De Sica. First multiple FLF winner since Bergman over thirty years ago?

Million Dollar Baby from 12 years ago is still the last BP winner to feature an actress nominated in a lead role.

No BP Winner has missed a SAG ensemble nom since Braveheart (and that was the first year of SAG).

The near 20 year run of at least one acting winner playing a real person just ended.
