That's mostly L'Apollonide and Take Shelter for me.

Although I'd also try to watch The Mill and the Cross, A Simple Life, From Up on Poppy Hill and Alois Nebel.

From those I haven't seen Alois Nebel but that one doesn't strike me as something that I would enjoy. A Simple Life is not very good. The Miyazaki is outstanding.

I think we have a good chance of toppling American Exceptionalism in 2010 if we let people vote four times for The Four Times.

    1. Le quattro volte
    2. Le quattro volte
    3. Le quattro volte
    4. Enter The Void
    5. Le quattro volte

It would certainly be gross and tacky to vote for Le quattro volte in #4.

(ETA, I don't love Le quattro volte... Nice, but not delightful/challenging/exciting/"affecting" enough for me ).

I think we must add to our trivia, Edward Norton starring in the #1 and #2 movies from the same year.
And also, Domhnall Gleeson present in 3 movies from the same year.
Iñárritu and Linklater selected 2 years in a row.

Well, here goes my FYC for 2011 (for nothing, again, I fear): Teddy Award winner "Ausente"
