I am not feeling picture and director splitting again this time around imo.

I see it like that because how it completely differs from the superhero genre. In fact I can't quite call it a superhero movie, plus there are people giving it Oscar buzz.

Why would Logan do it if Deadpool couldn't?

Someone didn't learn from "Deadpool" debacle. Almost every acclaimed superhero movie these days has early Oscar buzz, regardless if it's just a blink or have a long run.

No particular order = CMBYN is my personal pic.

    1 A Ghost Story
2 Call Me By Your Name
    3 Dunkirk
    4 mother!
    5 The Post
    6 Untitled PTA
7 Get Out -- do not discount the legs on this film

    That's all I'm comfortable predicting.

    Wild cards:

    Battle Of The Sexes
    Happy End
Detroit (I do not get a good vibe on this one)

People are STILL predicting the PTA after Focus hardly acknowledged it at Cannes and revealed they have no title or footage to show

Because he's only had 1 BP nom which was for his highest raved movie that went onto win Actor and Cinematography, the movie is going to be very late and very dark, and Focus doesnt have the best track record in BP or Director as of late

    Focus BP noms this decade:
2014: Theory of Everything- won Actor
2013: Dallas Buyers Club- won Actor
2010: Kids Are All Right- won Comedy Globe Actress

    Previously:
2009: Serious Man- year of 10
    ---------
2008: Milk- won Actor and Screenplay
    2007: Atonement- won Score
2005: Brokeback Mountain- won Director and Screenplay
2003: Lost in Translation- won Screenplay
2002: The Pianist- won Director and Actor

Darkest Hour will forever remain their top push and its already an easy actor contender
