I think ep5 is my fave of the season so far. The stuff with Serena feeling isolated with no one who will talk to her is really great. I continue to find her to be the most intriguing character series-wide and am eager to see where they're taking her personal story.

    Episode 5:
I loved that June didn't talk to herself the whole time except the ending...
Serena is such an evil & I like it
    Aunt Lydia's character is WOW!!!

I feel like these characters have hit rock-bottom, and rather than continue to wallow in this misery porn, the show will finally turn towards seeing actual progress made with the resistance (if this series doesn't end with the fall of Gilead, what is the point lmao).

    (I'm emotionally exhausted.)

Well with that promo it gives us more reason to see Serena as a complex character! Yvonne has been killing it this season!

I'm a little late on this, but just watched the Season 2 premiere, and holy cow, the use of "This Woman's Work" absolutely wrecked me. I've been unsure about the way this show can employ over the top musical choices, but this completely worked for me. Maybe it's just because of my undying Kate Bush love, but I was sobbing even though I knew they wouldn't kill any handmaids. Killer premiere, I can't wait to finish the season.

Yvonne Strahovski and Alexis Bledel were outstanding in the last episode. As usual.

June talking to her baby at the end kind of killed me. It felt like the first glimmer of hope in a little while.

That was a good episode with a great payoff.

Holy shit. That handmaid had help; that's not a plot you execute alone. Makes me wonder if Mayday has high-ranking mole(s) among the Gilead power structure... (Commander Pryce?)

Serena Joy's speech pre-coup made me feel so queasy. It's the same shit you'd hear today. Oppression, fascism and etc. in the name of Christianity. So creepy and unsettling. What an episode.

Yvonne keeps playing the most complex character and giving the best performance in 'The Handmaid's Tale'.

And the last three episodes were simply amazing.

And God, that nursery scene was played to perfection! She goes from warm to cold in the most heartbreaking way possible. I can't stop thinking about it.

How this episode was moving from scene to scene didn't prepare me to that end, and so, it was shocking!
I liked the focusing on Serena, she was great in this episode.
Also, LOL at the song in the end.

Yvonne is definitely up for Emmy consideration! I hope she gets in over Dowd this year because her work is phenomenal! This could be her Emmy winning tape if you ask me!
