That Murphy Brown premise doesn't surprise me at all, especially in this political climate. I'm surprised CBS launched two new comedies on Monday with no vets around to lead-in.

I feel as though shows like A Million Little Things fail more than they succeed, especially on ABC. So many shows over the years like Six Degrees (ABC), My Generation (ABC), Reunion (FOX), etc. I can think of countless other dramas too. I totally expected This is Us to flop due to that trend. Maybe this will work for ABC though.

So happy for Leighton Meester getting another show picked up.

As for LA Finest ... so dissapoitning. They said the same things about Cruel Intentions 2 years ago. 'Not fitting the schedule' ... What a waste. Broadcast TV is literally the worst. All you get are basically the same shows over and over again.

I think if CBS indeed picks up MAD ABOUT YOU, it will replace MURPHY BROWN which is reportedly just 13 episodes

Interesting that all the drama with the Redstone family is happening at the same time as the CBS upfronts.

There are scenarios where Les Moonves is sent packing very soon But what of Julie Chen?!

Les wasn't at the presentation for the first time in years.

I don't care about Les so long as Chenbot remains a fixture on Big Brother.

Same, although I wonder what she would do in the event of a bitter end to his reign? Loyalty to her husband or continuing as if nothing happened? She was with Big Brother before she started her affair with Les of course. And then there's The Talk. Sara Gilbert was smart to line up Roseanne just in case that's taken out as collateral damage as well.

If he is removed, he'll likely end up with a payout worth hundreds of millions of dollars so both of them will be fine either way

ETA: I guess he did show up

Moonves on Wednesday first appeared 10 minutes into the show, in a spoof video with John Malkovich that made light of the upfront ritual but then offered a montage of the CBS portfolio. He then took the stage, drawing a long standing ovation and roar from the crowd.

This all came about the same time the Delaware Chancery judge said he was granting CBS a one-day temporary restraining order, essentially putting the breaks on the fight between Moonves’ CBS and the Redstone-controlled National Amusements that could alter the CBS CEO’s future with the company.

“So, how’s your week been?” he cracked. “For years, I have told you that I will only be out here for a short time. This year, for the first time, I might mean it.”

Candace Bergen may give Julia Louis-Dreyfus a run at the Emmys depending on how well Murphy Brown performs.

That Murphy Brown trailer really sold the show that aired 25 years ago

Liberals need to make sure it’s a hit like Roseanne, but I’m not sure people have the same nostalgia for it. I hope it’s good though!

Happy Together could be fun, it has two great leads who seem to play well off each other. The premise is silly though.

Jesus that MAGNUM trailer was super bland, even for the bland standards of CBS.
    Recent films RRA survived:

    Hell Fest
    Peppermint (BIG Thumbs Down)
    The Meg (Thumbs Up)
    Christopher Robin
    The Equalizer 2 (Thumbs Up)
