Hoping that Machado and Shaw, from two of the best shows on television, aren't overlooked.

Ugh, who do I have to blow to get Catherine O'Hara some recognition. She is incredible on Schitt's Creek.

I feel this is more straightforward then the other categories
Janney/Broshanan/Brie/Tomlin seem pretty safe and 2 of the last 4 spots are btwn Adlon,Fonda,Ross and Kemper

Still though I hope I am 100% wrong and someone like Rachel Bloom or Issa Rae get's a surprise nom outta nowhere

I'm picking Issa for the sixth slot, mostly out of sheer hope.

As much as I like Fonda and Tomlin as women, I'm ready for Grace and Frankie to be done so we can open up some spots here.

Fonda was fantastic in the latest season and she's win-worthy I'm rooting for her this year. I do hope Tomlin (as great as she is) misses out.

Holding out hope for Adlon to return

Both Tomlin and Fonda will be nominated because the Emmys are boring. I think they'll embrace GLOW and Mrs. Maisel for pretty obvious reasons, I think Blackish still has enough fans, and then people will namecheck Janney from now until the end of time.
Adlon could also return at the expense of anyone except Janney and Brosnahan. If the industry actually paid any attention to Speechless, Driver would have a chance. Ellie Kemper returning is plausible, and we can't completely rule out Debra Messing.

Fonda was magnificent. I would have no problem at all with her winning.

Next year JLD will win so this year is exciting. I'm rooting for Rachel Brosnahan the most although if she lost I think she'll have other chances. Tracee had a great season on Black-ish too and this might be her best chance to win. And well Janney is always great in Mom and I kinda want her to win so she can go 4/4 in both categories in drama and comedy

Sticking to the obvious 6 here

i hope Alison Brie has a good shot at this one, I just love her
But Brosnahan is just so magnetic whenever she's on screen so probably not

I think if Maisel gets a decent showing on nomination morning, this will be Brosnahan's, easily.

Brosnahan is so winning this, but there's a part of me that thinks if CBS campaigned that Janney could win...
