Episodes is a frequent nominee here so even if it ended so long ago I think it still has a shot

    It has never missed.

Why did Maisel only submit one episode? I thought that it's one of the front runners for Best Comedy Series, and don't those usually submit more than one episode for Best Writing?

More shows should follow its lead.

A show like Silicon Valley does this to avoid vote-splitting during voting for the winner, but The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel really should have submitted another one. Nobody is going to vote for another episode over its pilot.

Ugh, Episodes really could just come back into this lineup couldn't it.

    For now:

    Atlanta x2
    Maisel Pilot
    GLOW Pilot
    Barry Pilot
    Silicon Valley

I just can't fit Episodes into that but it's definitely a number 7. Atlanta could probably only end up getting one into this lineup, maybe.

I didn't realize Episodes was even still a thing. Pulling off a nomination this year would be quite a feat.

    Atlanta x2
    GLOW (Kohan)
    Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
    Silicon Valley
    Will & Grace

    Atlanta x3
    Glow -Pilot
    Maisel-Pilot
    Silicon Valley
    The Good Place-Dance Dance Resolution

I think we will get a tie and 7th nom here,I also predict The Good Place will follow in the footsteps of shows like Community and Pushing Daisies and get a nod with the writers even if doesn't land in Series

I guess it's a longshot, but Get Shorty may get a surprise nod here.

Me and the other 42 people who watched the series Get Shorty aren't part of the Emmy writers branch
