Lol I finally finished season 3. What crap. The Thomas and Edith storylines were good, but the rest was a chore -- and a melodramatic one to boot. (Sybil lmao). I think I lost count of how many times I wanted to see Bates and Anna drown in a river. Cora, too.

The show is lucky that it has such good characters and actors, but it's going to wear thin if it isn't careful.

No it wasn't. By the time it happened he had turned into a schmaltzy annoyance. It's better for the show that he left. Matthew and Mary were quickly losing chemistry with each episode.

They should set the 'Weekend' guy up with Thomas. It's only fair!
