The Help might actually have a chance here!

Emma Stone, Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Sissy Spacek, Jessica Chastain, Bryce Dallas Howard, Cicely Tyson et al?

SAG sucks usually so they may include The Help.

I don't anticipate A Dangerous Method being a huge player, not because it won't be great, but because it's probably fucked up and disturbing. It's still Cronenberg. And movies like that are usually always praised and garner some nominations but aren't really showing up everywhere. Looks like it may be honored for the writing and perfs.

The Descendants looks solid to take this.

Carnage could be another option, but I'm not feeling it.

    I think these are in:

    The Descendants
    The Help
    Midnight in Paris

    And then maybe:

    Moneyball
    Carnage

^ except Moneyball seems a bit Lead-dominated, and Idk if Carnage is gonna make much of an impact

    Other potentials:

    The Artist
    Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
(& maybe The Ides of March)

^ those first 3 don't seem very "ensemble-y", but this category is sort of SAG's equivalent to Best Picture, and they're each in contention for at least one acting nod (Dujardin, Bullock, Mara)

Ides seems like a good ensemble cast, but it might not be well enough reviewed to make it?

I'm pretty sure The Help's got this one ... would be a great moment for female actors / all-female films

This category has always varied between being the SAG's Best Picture award, and being the LARGEST CAST award. But I mean, Hairspray got a SAG Ensemble nomination. SO YEAH?

    The Artist
    Bridesmaids Or Midnight in Paris
    The Descendants
    The Help
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy or The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo

    Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close
