The PG rating for Pi has me worried about it's Oscar chances. Besides, I just read the book (on the plane) and how on earth they can make that PG is beyond me.

Eh, it didn't hurt Hugo that much, what with five Oscars and all.

Yeah, I forgot about that. I was just a little shocked when I saw the rating last night.

I'm very excited for 'Noah' - I've read the script and was very impressed. It has a very strong and clear-minded stance on the biblical story, and the characters are all well realized and come across well on paper. The descriptions of Noah's visions were, in particular, very vivid - it's easy to see them (as well as scenes more instantly associated with the story, such as the flood and the migration of the animals) being really spectacular on screen. I do wonder how much it will have been changed by John Logan, though - the script that's circulating online is only credited to Aronofsky and Ari Handel, so I imagine it's quite an outdated draft.

Also, I like the practical stance they've taken with the costumes. In particular, I really like Jennifer Connelly's outfit below - it's very refreshing to see a female character in a biblical movie who (at the very least) looks dressed in a manner that will actually allow her to do things other than stand around and dispense wisdom. I think the film will come as a big shock to anyone anticipating a standard swords and sandal flick-

I can't stand JCon's "acting", but i'm still exicited for this in spite of her.

Paramount unveiled the first footage from NOAH and NEBRASKA at CinemaCon. As expected they both look great.

I need to find more reactions. Please post when you find them.

Emma Watson's trajectory is quite exciting, particularly after a wonderful turn in Perks.
