    Anyway, I also almost included Piper Laurie's performance from Carrie on my ballot, but she barely missed out. I actually saw Carrie with a couple friends of mine a last week, and afterward one of them was being really annoying and kept saying, (as Piper Laurie) "The boys!!! The booooyyys!!" lol
    I think that she's wonderful in it. I know some people who think that her performance is a bit laughable and exagerated, but I think that as far as ''scream queens'' performances in horror films, she is one of the most genuintly believable.
    I don't think that she was very close to making my line-up. I guess she must be in my top 25 supporting female performances, but the likes of Ruth Gordon, Hattie McDaniel, Mo'Nique, Judith Anderson or Julianne Moore would've been closer to making my line-up than Duvall. Actually, Kathleen Byron for Black Narcissus was in my line-up when I posted at first, but then I remembered that I did not put Hagen in SITR.
    However, Duvall was quite close to making my line-up for Best Actress (Three Women ftw)!
