That poster's the best one of the lot that have been released so far.

Only thing I don't like about it is that it feels like Hathaway's shoe is trying too hard.

Michelle Pfeiffer's shoe did it so much better the first time around, it's true.

The Catwoman's heel poster is definitely a step up from most of the previous posters for Dark Knight Rises, but it's still several notches below most, if not all of the Dark Knight posters. It's just not that intriguing an image and the dark rainy gray theme got old a few promotional images ago.

I was reading some comments over at AICN, which is often a bad idea, but someone pointed out this is basically a teaser poster coming out just two months prior to release and features a tease of a character we've all seen about a hundred images of. It's a good point and I do think this would have worked better as an earlier poster.

The Dark Knight posters weren't that great. There were a few good ones but also a lot of ones on the level of the TDKR ones.

There were some dull, lame ones as well, but I really loved several of the posters.



I think the top three are fantastic. All are inventive and interesting. All are better than any of the Rises posters.

The bottom three are a little more basic, but I still really liked the fiery bat poster the first time around and I think the Batpod one is a pretty cool action shot. The Joker one in the bottom right is indeed nothing special, though.

I tend to agree with Aaron here. The top 3 are just great in terms of design and concept and I haven't seen anything like those yet for TDKR.
