"SHADOW DANCER" Trailer (Andrea Riseborough, Clive Owen, Gillian Anderson)

    http://www.rte.ie/ten/2012/0601/shadow.html

Directed by James Marsh (Project Nim, Man on Wire) and based on the novel of the same name by journalist Tom Bradby it stars Andrea Riseborough, Clive Owen, Gillian Anderson, Aidan Gillen and Domhnall Gleeson.

It tells the story of Colette McVeigh (Riseborough), a member of the IRA who is apprehended by MI5 after an aborted bombing in London.

She is given a choice: spend 25 years in jail and never see her son grow up or return to Belfast to spy on her brother, leader of the IRA in the city and "the last obstacle to a viable peace process".

Shadow Dancer, which was shot in Dublin and London, will be released in cinemas on August 25.

    Gillian!
Also this Riseborough girl is kind of odd-looking, but in a really intriguing, sexy way!

I really like the cast, and the trailer makes it seem like a gripping, if a little generic, thriller of the kind that I usually enjoy.

James Marsh's The King was ultimately a failure but had very interesting things in it, plus a gripping performance by Pell James. I am wary on this.
