Finally something surprising happened three-quarters of the way through the season. Though it's similar to a S1 twist. Instead of the paternity of Victoria's child coming into question, now Victoria has a Secret Son.
The only current character who seems to fit the age range for having Teen Mom Victoria is Nolan, but he was raised by his dad until Aunt Carol took him in, so...yet another new character will come in, I guess?

I finally caught up with Revenge and I feel the show is back on track, or at least en route to it. The last three episodes were definitely improvement from the messy first half of season. Killing off Fake Amanda and getting rid of Padma helped focusing the show again. I hope they forget about the Initiative and Emily is fully back on tormenting the Graysons. Jack plotting his own revenge could be interesting too, even though it's hard to have high hopes for his pairing with Ashley (so random).

This POS season ends on an even lower note. Congrats, show. You get 1 and likely 2 more seasons as a reward.

The hyped-up Original Cast Member death is Declan? The first scene of the pilot hinted that Emanda's fiance would die, so...underwhelming. Emanda's contact with him has been negligible at best.
The Initiative is just rich a-holes causing disasters when they feel like making $ and the conspiracy was made up? Great, the main plotline of the season was useless.
Emanda was already gonna tell Jack a year ago; it was pointlessly Pregnant Amily who delayed it so the writers could contrivedly keep apart Emanda/Jack.

The showshould've ended with the S1 finale, with changing the ending to the Graysons' secrets being exposed after all and their being carted off to jail. No Pregnant Amily. No suicidal Charlotte. No Resurrected Emanda Mom. No Super Secret Conspiracy hints. No Aiden, or Padma, or New Takeda, or whatever other useless characters we met this year. I'm glad Emily VanCamp has Captain America 2 so she has something to do besides this sinkhole.

I actually thought the show ended on a great note. The finale was actually interesting, connected a lot of WTF dots from throughout the season, and set up nicely for season 3, which SHOULD be more interesting.

As a double episode, I'd rate it a B+, which is way above the season. As a season, I'd probably say something like C-.

    Will Oscar have Riva Fever?

I'm with City Lights. I thought it was a good finale. There was no need for a double episode though, one should had been enough. At least we got rid of Declan and Aiden seems to be gone too. I thought the set up was nice with Conrad as governor (no matter how absurd it is the idea of Conrad being elected) and Emily telling Jack the truth. With a bit of refocusing the show could get back on track. I'm mildly hopeful for the next season.

I really liked the scene with Victoria and Emily when Victoria said they are actually very similar.

I was crying really hard at the hospital and the final scenes. I am so easy.
