Chad was a fine winner but I would have crowned Raven out of this 4. But really, Manila .

That Shannel could even land the top 4 is proof that the whole teams thing was a bust. Bring on season 5!

I really wanted Raven or Jujubee to win but at least it was Chad and not Kirstie Alley's goiter.

This. I guess I'm fine with Chad's win. Ru seems like she's wanted to award this type for awhile: the polished, seasoned professional, and I guess it makes sense in this context, especially if veteran = All Star? It's underwhelming, though, because it feels like such a safe, obvious choice. Raven and Juju deserved it more. Poor Juju, being lumped together with Shannel, and poor Raven, as the runner-up again (#blonderunnerup #whatisthisANTM?). All of that is a moot point, though, as Manila should have been the winner, with Tommie Brown as the runner-up.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. Chad is OK and everything, but it was such a safe choice. Raven would have been a much cooler winner, and she looked FLAWLESS with that last look, her best ever probably.

Pandora Boxx, of season 2, pays homage to Jessica Lange as Sister Jude:

So, I've watched seasons 3, 4 and this... and I was constantly bored in All Stars.

I expected it come down to Manila or Chad in the end... and I was 50% right

    Each Queen
    - Pandora Boxx - whiny little princess, had it not been very clear he hated being with Mimi and stopped feeling sorry for himself - there was a chance... a chance she could have survived
    - Mimi Imfurst - I think out of her league, but genuinely tried, despite being paired with a cry-baby
    - Tammie Brown - out of her fucking mind, but awesome because of it...
    - Nina Flowers - very conceptual and brave, but picking a celeb impersonation very few could relate to was just stupid... (also what kind of drag queen doesn't know who Tammy-Faye was?)
    - Latrice Royale - probably had the most interesting back-story and someone I always championed - but for some reason, she didn't seem to be hungry for it and Manilla constantly carried her - um and what the fuck was that 'Oprah'?
    - Manilla Luzon - edgy, high-fashion but still well within the sort of absurdist tradition of drag - my favourite from season 3, by far.
    - Yara Sofia - there is something that truly irritates me about her - it's not the language barrier, it's the manic terrier-like personality
    - Alexis Mateo - I kind of echo a bit already said, but she's boring and not incredibly watchable.
    - Shannel - dafuq? I couldn't stand her - she was trashy, but in a totally oblivious way - Chad TOTALLY carried her for most of it
    - Jujubee - I liked her, she was funny but very natural about it - and she rarely looked bad
    - Raven - She was kinda just... 'there', a bit like Alexis for me, competent but I found her a little boring
    - Chad - ultimate professional, I think deserved the win, I think the face work has kind of turned her into a one-trick pony - but it's a good trick....

But the team format utterly fucked the competition up.

Romney's less subtle campaign message: "Don't ask questions and just vote for me!!"

Ugh, why is this so far away.

I might shuffle the placement around a bit, but these picks are pretty much spot-on. I think their #5 might actually be my #1.

I think number one is definitely correct. Manila's MacArthur Park is quintessential lip-synching. It's funny, campy, dramatic, emotional. That was the only time I've ever agreed with Alexis Mateo on anything; it was pure Broadway. I would have given Latrice's Natural Woman the number 2 spot though. She was incredible. I was dying as she rubbed her belly while she sang. Her lip sync against Dida to Gladys Knight also should have made this list, but overall I agree, this was a good one.

I agree with all of this.

I'd probably put Dida Ritz at number three, and I also really think Jujubee's "Black Velvet" from season two was really great.
