I cannot wait for the tantrum and breakdown scenes.

    Will Oscar have Riva Fever?

ha, my friend Betsy Sodaro (she had a supporting role on that short lived series Animal Practice) would be perfect for the role. In fact, I think she's done some comedy sketches where she plays Susan.

But of course, they'll gonna go with Glenn Close or someone.

I think this might be too minor a TV film, even for Glenn Close.
But this could be yet another step for Marcia Gay Harden to get that EGOT.

    Why can't Susan play herself?

    I mean, Fantasia Barrino did.

Right? I mean, this all happened to her like, 3 years ago. All they need is Boyle and a dozen cats. Sharon Stone can play Simon Cowell.

Yeah, this is hardly new, even for UK. They're in the middle of filming the Paul Potts movie (he won the first series of Britain's Got Talent - don't misspell that name!) with James Corden in the lead.

This reminds me of that period in the early 2000s on VH1 where pretty much every weekend they made a movie about a musician like Meat Loaf or Little Richard or whoever. Except this time it's Britain's got Talent.

    I look forward to this.
The Pol Pot story could be awards material!

I honestly don't see a resemblance between Glenn Close and Susan Boyle. (or Sharon Stone and Simon Cowell..). The first person that came to mind for me, was Tyne Daly, but I feel that if she were to do it, this project may be more of a tv movie.

Because a film about Susan Boyle wouldn't naturally be a tv project...
