If Lincoln is going to win the Best Picture Oscar then yes...but if not...I don't see it happening with SAG either.

Why? Even if Lincoln doesn't win Best Picture, it'll still be one of the 2 favorites. Plus, it has the biggest overall cast with a range of different actors many of whom also work on TV. I think the SAG will be very likely to vote it based on that. Not to mention that it'll also be the highest grossing film of the lineup and we all know how populist the SAG is.

Past NBR Ensemble winners include Mrs. Henderson Presents, Nicholas Nickleby, and It's Complicated...so I don't think that's necessarily a great indicator of Les Miz getting the Sag.

It's the JGL effect...it'll miss with Oscar.
TBH, I would not be surprised at all. And I'm okay, I just want it to be recognized as one of the best films of the year.

Beware, I have some spectacular FYC ads for the INOCA.

Is Looper really taken seriously as an awards worthy film? I saw it, and I thought it wasn't even 'just ok.'

Well, for me is a brilliant movie. Surely I'm biased because I adored Rian Johnson, but I found some scenes absolutely terrific and memorable and the way the "villain/not villain" is played is sensational.

Like, shut up. NBR and NYFCC and Boston already beat you to it.

EDIT. "We have one of the best lists in the country, and we deserve more attention." ... and I'm done.
