2018 Emmy Nomination Predictions

With the Emmy nominating ballots out we know now where certain performers are submitted and which writing and directing episodes will be in contention.

Riley Chow of GoldDerby and I combed through the lists for our podcast last week and right here you can find my updated predictions based on the ballots and that podcast.

There are a lot of contentious category battles in store, even with an expanded number of nominees. New rules, such as the ability for a voter to nominate as many choices as they’d like could provide more than a few surprises and I’m also predicting Donald Glover and Bill Hader to compete directly with each other in FIVE different categories.

Nominations for the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards will be revealed on July 12th and I’ll have more podcasts and more predictions in the coming month.
