Holy fucking shit. I never dreamed of the day John Lloyd Cruz would be nominated for an International Cinephile Award.

Yup this is definitely the best slate this season. Finally recognition for Arnaud (he was better than Nahuel imo) and Amira.

So far I'm thinking thank God that unlike some Oscar voters, these people actually saw more than just 10 English movies in 2017.

Oh yeah, count me in the group of people who are really happy for that Valois nom. He was so great in BPM. Such a tender, heartbreaking performance.

Making room for Nahuel in lead, I’m sure. It’s funny because I thought their roles were reversed until nahuel started getting Best Actor mentions.

It's a 4-hour Filipino film that won the Venice Golden Lion last 2016. Depressing stuff, but really beautiful. Charo Santos (my former boss lol) is amazing in it.

Why do they have foreign language film category? I think it's so unnecessary for a group called 'international' 'cinephile' society.
