Jim Carrey and Isabelle Huppert will do just fine, adding some Emmys to their Golden Globes for their astonishing film performances

Carrey will win the Emmy if the show is good. But if Atlanta's S3 comes out in 2019, I'm going with Glover again.

Expecting Game of Thrones and Big Little Lies to dominate the Drama categories. Veep will probably win a bunch of Comedy awards since it's the final season. There's no way in hell JLD doesn't win. Not sure about the Limited Series/TV Movie categories, except that Amy Adams is a lock to win for Sharp Objects. As long as The Romanoffs is good and Isabelle Huppert gets nominated, I'll be happy.

Weinstein's initial involvement meant that Amazon shouldered the entire production budget for it, buying out TWC's half of it.

    That was all that happened.

Watch out for Helen Mirren's Catherine the Great by HBO in the TV Movie/Limited Series categories.

HBO's Succession sure has the pedigree (Adam Mckay!!1), but it'll probably be HBO's 4th priority at best with Game of Thrones, Big Little Lies & Lovecraft Country...and by voting time it'll be a year since the show aired. Such a shame, because I think (even though its male dominated ewww) it's a great show.

Does anybody give a shit about this show? Reviews are fine, but I don't think anybody is paying attention.

Anyway, next year is shaping up to be so interesting and fun. The final season of GoT vs. Big Little Lies vs. Handmaid's Tale is monumental. My goodness, if Homecoming and Are You Sleeping deliver?

Nicole vs. Reese vs. Julia vs. Elisabeth. At the EMMYS.

I think GoT is going to lose this year, but win in 2019 because it's their last season. The acting categories are really interesting, especially Best Actress, Drama.

I think Mindhunter will get in for best supporting actor and best actor. Maybe best drama as well.
