No idea but 6 part series and Sunday prime slot I suspect it is weekly.

    New images released recently:

Worth a watch for Colman alone but the rest of the cast looks good too. Curious to see this. Also, if this leads to double noms for her next year....

Actually she has the potential to get quadruple nominations next year at the Emmys.

    Lead Drama Actress: The Crown
    Supporting Comedy Actress: Fleabag
Supporting Limited Series Actress: Les Miserables
    Voice-Over Performance: Watership Down

Of course only if all of these air during the eligibility period.

Omg you're right! Holy crap she's gonna have a HUGE year next year (hopefully). Can't wait!
(I also still haven't lost hope completely for this year's Oscar but we'll see)

I still believe she'll win the Oscar. SAG love queens, BAFTA love her and the Globes go with Oscar front runner in Comedy Actress instead of the biggest star.

Exactly. I dunno why so many people are convince she's done. I still think she's very much in the race and has a very good chance of walking away with the prize. Rooting for her all the way!

Olivia is perfectly cast in this role. I just watched eps 2 and 3 and really loved seeing her. She was pretty much made for this part and she's playing it brilliantly. Other than the fact that I'm kinda fed up with the story itself, having seen a million versions of it and read the book several times, she's the best Madame Thénardier out of everyone I've seen

Collins is a much better Fantine than Hathaway was IMO. I just don't like the role itself because it's so naturally overly melodramatic lol (well the whole story is really, but this role in particualr even more so). I was rolling my eyes a lot, but not because of the acting. She handled it pretty well I think.

I thought the first episode was slow, but the second two were good. I think Les Mis at this point is kinda like A Christmas Carol or something, where there's been so many versions that there's only so much you can do with it to make it feel new. Singing or not, everyone knows the story, the characters, everything that happens, etc.

I like Dominic West as Jean Valjean though
