No, that’s definitely new and inexplicable.

lol, he’s gonna have to explain why/how the industry is suddenly going to spur for an arthouse film/performance that hasn’t even resonated with critics when they’ve gone predominately basic this year.

Tapley is delusional and his ability to predict and read the races is overrated IMO. Feinberg and Thompson are better and not as biased.

Feinberg not biased ? Good one. Of course, when the race is closing, he tends to do it better (But also the majority).

Speaking of basicness (And finally I saw the Felicia's film to verify that).

2013: Argo (only Arkin was nominated at SAG. BAFTA was the only place that nominated Affleck in acting, but they clearly loved Argo very much + SAG noms came out before BAFTA noms)
    2012: The Artist, Bridesmaids
2010: Inglorious Basterds, The Hurt Locker
I'm talking about movies that got nominated for SAG ensemble, in which only one cast member was nominated for any individual acting award from a recognized voting body (including Globes, BAFTAs, critics groups, etc.).

The Artist had two of its actors nominated for Oscars. Both Wiig and McCarthy got recognition for their performances in Bridesmaids (Wiig got a Globe nom). You pointed out yourself that Affleck got a BAFTA nom for Argo. Diane Kruger got a SAG nomination for Inglourious Basterds, etc. etc.

Even with Mudbound, at least Jason Mitchell was nominated by some critics groups.

Captain Fantastic is the only recent movie (other than BR) I can find in which no cast members except for one got any individual recognition from anywhere. And that, at least, was a movie where lots of the cast members got very solid reviews. I can't say the same for BR.

Dropping by to read this thread for some extra amusement when I'm relaxing by the pool is always fun. Rami is sweeping, get used to it.
