After thinking about it for a little bit, I don’t think he’ll miss, but he’s more likely to than anyone else who has hit all of the precursors.

I can't see Chalamet missing over three coattail buzzless performances, even if they're from big movies. I mean, he made bafta as a sole nominee

Nobody. There is no prerequisites that a nominee has to be in a film that is nominated in BP. The passion for Chalamet's performance is there. He is not missing, BAFTA to me was his biggest hurdle and he made it. He is out there campaigning and networking.

Amy Adams and Timothee Chalamet are the most likely ones.

What's making Amy Adams supposedly vulnerable to snub?

I think supporting actress line-up can have more than one surprises this year. I'm not saying Amy is going to get snubbed but it's a possibility. Her performance is not great and she fades in the background towards the end of the film. It depends on the Academy's reaction towards Vice.

"And there on top of his head were faces like she had seen only in a dream, almost too beautiful to be recognized as people at all:
the most beautiful woman and the most beautiful man in the world, she the female version of him, and he the male version of her

I would congratulate myself to construct stronger characterization into some arrogant full of myself persona but seriously, it was so fucking obvious. The film was BEAUTIFUL BOY and the other option was Sam Rockwell for a major BP acting! movie.

For the nth time, Chalamet’s snub shows the vulnerability of actors who hit everything but would be their film’s sole nomination, over actors in strong overall films. If you’re in a top BP contender and you get even one televised precursor nod, you’re most likely in.
