Is it foolish of me to jump onboard the Timothee Chalamet train after last year? Not for a win, but for a nomination? Early word on Little Women is positive and the release date suggests confidence on the Studio’s part.

Please let it be so - if only to make up for his egregious snub for "Beautiful Boy" last year over Sam Rockwell's caricature of Dubya

It would have to be such a weak year. Laurie isn’t that great of a character in terms of warranting enough material to have a chance at awards.

I feel like Timothee stans will jump on this board anyway... This is such a nothing part, it just won't happen.

It’s not baity. I wouldn’t say nothing part, that isn’t true, when he’s going to have substantial screentime and an arc. But it’s called Little Women so the women are the focus. A 20 something kid is not about to go on his 3rd consecutive awards campaign

He's definitely a strong contender. He's a stand out in LW, is really well liked and Supp isn't really strong. Only Hanks, Taika and Pitt (if Campaigned here) have a shot of getting in. Al Pacino is a question Mark, the Irishman looks like a giant mess so far, but it's netflix top priority...

Pacino would get in for The Irishman even if it is mixed before Chalamet would get in for playing Laurie in Little Women

Unless if the CGI is the problem. That could ruin the performances entirely.
