    Yeah, so far everything suggests that Parasite is The foreign language contender of the year. Beloved by critics, #1 on the Cannes critics poll, and it looks like it's a crowdpleaser based on audience reactions and foreign BO number. With the right campaign it can go far in the awards race, maybe even be in contention for a Best Picture nomination.

    A film beloved by audiences and critics alike really should be a BP nominee by default you'd imagine. I really, really hope NEON manages the campaign well because Parasite should hit screenplay, director and picture if it's campaigned properly. Any acting or tech nominations is probably reaching though unless Song Kang-ho becomes a critics contender in supporting (we've seen worse frauds recently for sure)

    That would be amazing, I would love that. I'm definitely excited for what Neon could do with it and that October slot is great.
