Richard Gadd Breaks Down the Physical and Emotional Challenges of Creating and Starring in ‘Half Man’ [VIDEO INTERVIEW]
Fresh off his six Emmy wins for Baby Reindeer on Netflix, Richard Gadd has returned to his layered episodic storytelling ways with Half Man on HBO Max. Serving as the creator, showrunner, executive producer, writer and co-star, this new limited series tells the multi-generational story of Ruben (Gadd) and Niall (played by Jamie Bell). Their challenging brotherly bond consistently affects each of their decisions throughout adulthood, while they both struggle with societal pressures regarding what it ultimately means to be a man.
