  • if there's a chance for The Lobster to get nominations I believe Rachel Weisz can get a huge advantage with 3/4 movies (The Light Between Oceans, Deep Water - Support | Denial and The Lobster - Lead )

  • Oh please, no more cupcakes from Jennifer Aniston to the critics.

Or maybe she'd try and send live yellow birds for this self promoted Oscar nom.

Please spare us the drama of dead ex boyfriends, more info on her being dumped by Brad Pitt a dozen years ago.

  • you forget at least to include Lupita Nyong'o, in queen of Katwe, such brilliant actress. i believe someone from female-centric movies (such as certain women, maggie's plan, 20th century women, hidden figures, etc) will be nominated here. there are many good women films coming out this year. i will consider alysia reiner in "equity" as one of possible nominee, the movie is about the she-wolf of wall street, lead actress is anna gunn and she seems doing it great, but i am interest with alysia because she is playing the smart but mean character, it's quite intriguing. what about tilda swinton? she is in "hail caesar" playing both quirky twin sister gossip columnists. she also performs in a bigger splash -very interesting role as well-. but above all, i like rachel weisz (she got 3 great movies but her acting in "light between oceans" made me cry) and michelle williams (manchester by the sea).
