2024 New York Film Critics Online (NYFCO) Winners: ‘The Substance’ Takes Best Picture, Director

The New York Film Critics Online (NYFCO) have named The Substance the Best Picture of 2024 and Best Director to Coralie Fargeat.
The Brutalist was the top awards getter of the day with five: Best Actor for Adrien Brody, Supporting Actor for Guy Pearce, screenplay, cinematography and use of music.
Marianne Jean-Baptiste won Best Actress for Hard Truths, Natasha Lyonne (His Three Daughters) was named Best Supporting Actress and Conclave won Best Ensemble.
