5th Set Decorators Society of America (SDSA) Nominations: ‘The Substance,’ ‘The Brutalist,’ ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ and More

The 5th Set Decorators Society of America (SDSA) nominations have been announced, honoring excellence in the art of set decoration for film in the decor and design categories.

Split into four categories – Contemporary, Period, Fantasy/Sci-Fi and Comedy/Musical – the nominees include Conclave, The Substance, Maria, The Brutalist, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Dune: Part Two, Kinds of Kindness and Wicked.

The Art Directors Guild nominees will be announced next week but even in its early beginnings, three out of the SDSA’s four winners have gone on to win the best Oscar for Production Design, including last year’s Poor Things.

Winners will be announced on February 2. Here is the complete list of nominations.
