2024 Phoenix Film Critics Society (PFCS) Winners: ‘Conclave’ Tops Awards Including Best Actor for Ralph Fiennes
The Phoenix Film Critics Society (PFCS) has named The Brutalist the best picture of 2024, the sole win for the film.
Conclave was the biggest winner of the day with four wins: Best Director for Edward Berger, Best Actor for Ralph Fiennes, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Original Score.
Anora was a triple winner with Mikey Madison as Best Actress, Sean Baker for Original Screenplay and Madison again for Breakthrough Performance. Double winners included Dune: Part Two with Best Film Editing and Best Visual Effects, Emilia Pérez for Best Foreign Language Film and Best Original Song (“El Mal”) and Wicked earned a pair, for Ariana Grande-Butera as Best Supporting Actress and for Best Costume Design.
