32nd SAG Actor Awards Nomination Predictions – Television

The year might be ending, but award season never does. The Screen Actors Guild will present their nominations on January 7, 2026 for the newly minted name, The Actor Awards Presented by SAG-AFTRA.
Netflix has a few big contenders this year, but it will make a huge mark in the limited series categories with its array of limited series that have come out in the past year, including the multi-Emmy winner Adolescence. The streamer has a chance of completely taking over the Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series category while still nabbing at least three of the noms on the Female Actor side.
The drama categories will see new and old shows alike, most notably The Pitt, eligible for its first season. Emmy winners Noah Wyle and Katherine LaNasa are likely nominees in their respective categories, even more likely that they will be joined by Severance hopefuls Britt Lower, Adam Scott, and Tramell Tillman. Another HBO series likely to make a huge splash on nomination morning is The White Lotus, which is all but guaranteed to receive a nomination in Ensemble, as will likely the long-awaited fifth and final season of Stranger Things, a previous winner here.
The Studio is going to be the series to beat in Comedy Series categories, even with old favorites like Only Murders in the Building, Abbott Elementary, and Hacks also competing. Recent Emmy winner Seth Rogen will grab a nomination, and it’s also likely that co-star Catherine O’Hara will receive one as well. The Bear will round out the nominations for comedy.
Unlike the motion picture side, television does not have a supporting category so lead and supporting contenders will be nominated and compete alongside each other.
