Chicago Film Critics Winners: Mad Max Sweeps, Larson and DiCaprio Win Actress, Actor
The Chicago Film Critics Association has chosen Mad Max: Fury Road as the best film of 2015 to accompany that win are triumphs in Best Director, Cinematography, Editing and Art Direction. Brie Larson (Room) and Leonardo DiCaprio (The Revenant) came out on top in the Actress and Actor categories and Larson’s co-star Jacob Tremblay won Most Promising Performer. Alex Garland’s debut Ex Machina picked up two awards; one for himself as Most Promising Filmmaker and Alicia Vikander in Supporting Actress. Spotlight won another Original Screenplay award and The Big Short won Adapted.
