Alliance of Women Film Journalists (AWFJ) EDA Awards: ‘Sinners’ Rises to the Top

The Alliance of Women Film Journalists (AWFJ) have chosen Sinners as the best film of 2025, also awarding Ryan Coogler Best Director and Best Original Screenplay, Best Actor to Michael B. Jordan, Best Supporting Actress to Wunmi Mosaku among its wins.
Hamnet was a winner for Jessie Buckley in Best Actress and for Adapted Screenplay while Sentimental Value won Best Supporting Actor for Stellan Skarsgård and Best International Film.
In the group’s women-only categories, Chloé Zhao (Hamnet) and Eva Victor (Sorry, Baby) were among the winners as well as two awards for Chase Infiniti (One Battle After Another), in Female Breakthrough Performance and Female Stunt Performance.
