Amazon hosts ‘The Boys’ themed pop-up restaurant ahead of Emmy season
Amazon Prime Video announced today that The Boys will host a one-of-a-kind, immersive drive-thru restaurant, Planet Vought, from June 4-6 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. The three-day pop-up dining experience will celebrate the ‘grand opening’ of Vought’s Supe-themed restaurant Planet Vought, in its new Los Angeles location. No detail will be spared and reservations will be limited and free to both Emmy voters and consumers alike. Fans and Television Academy members will be able to reserve spots beginning Wednesday, May 26 at: planetvoughthollywood.com.
Attendees will enjoy the 40-minute experience from the safety of their vehicles. From delicious themed food items, to over the top production, to unexpected visitors, each element will be as truly diabolical as fans of The Boys have come to expect.
“What better way to give everyone a taste of The Boys than by bringing Planet Vought to Hollywood,” said Debra Birnbaum, Director of Awards, Amazon Studios. “We’re excited to share this ‘super’ experience with fans and voters alike.”
“We here at The Boys are thrilled to launch our latest cash-grab, I mean, brand extension: Planet Vought Hollywood. Guests will experience the thrills of being a real superhero, all while consuming 2000 calories or more. Okay not really, but still, this experience is SO COOL, and will immerse viewers (and frankly, Emmy voters) into the humor and intrigue of the show’s world. And keep an eye out — Butcher and the Boys might swing by,” said Showrunner Eric Kripke.
Season Three of The Boys is currently in production. The first two seasons can be binged by Emmy voters at Consider Amazon – The Boys. And for even more behind-the-scenes and behind-the-seams content, download and subscribe to The Boys: Official Podcast here.
