American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) Sets Date for 40th Annual Awards, Announces 2025-26 Timeline

The American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) will celebrate the 40th Annual ASC Outstanding Achievement Awards on March 8, 2025, at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
The ASC Awards recognize the exceptional artistry and craftsmanship of directors of photography who elevate the language of visual storytelling. The Society will present awards in feature films, episodic, documentaries and music video categories and streamed live to a global audience.
Last year, the ASC nominated seven films in the Feature Film category where Ed Lachman won for Maria. While Oscar-nominated for his work on the Pablo Larraín-directed and Angelina Jolie-starring film of the life of Maria Callas, the Academy Award went to Lol Crawley for The Brutalist.
Honorary awards, including the ASC Lifetime Achievement Award, Career Achievement in Television and Board of Governors Award, among others will also be presented at the awards ceremony.
