Disney’s Frozen and Monsters University (with Pixar) rule nominations with 10 apiece
The International Animated Film Society unveiled their nomination for the 41st Annie Awards today. The organization hands out awards in a large number of categories, so a quick nomination count is in order, before you delve into what got nominated where.
Disney and Pixar trump all, with Frozen and Monsters University leading the nomination tally with ten each, followed by Despicable Me 2 and The Croods both with nine. Ernest & Celestine and Turbo follow at a respectable distance with six nominations, while Epic gets five and The Wind Rises three. Winners will be announced on February 1st.
