Josh Thompson
Josh considers himself a political nerd first, then a movie lover. Therefore, it makes analysing the awards season a perfect hobby. His love of movies began with Tim Burton's Batman in 1989, at the age of six, transitioning to 1991's JFK, which remains his favourite film. He acknowledges the story is "utter twaddle", but the film is still a masterclass of all the film arts. Josh started at Oscarwatch (now AwardsDaily), run by Sasha Stone, during what he calls 'The War of 2001' and now happily resides at Awardswatch.
