The nominations for the 54th Cinema Audio Society (CAS) awards for sound mixing have been announced and for Motion Pictures mentions went to Baby Driver, Dunkirk, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, The Shape of Water and Wonder Woman.
Final balloting for Outstanding Sound Mixing and Outstanding Products will open online Thursday, February 1 and end Wednesday, February 14 at 5pm PST.
The Awards will be presented at a sealed envelope dinner on February 24th in the Bunker Hill Ballroom of the OMNI Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza. During the awards the highest honor of the CAS, the CAS Career Achievement Award, will be presented to Re-recording Mixer Anna Behlmer, the CAS Filmmaker Award will be given to Joe Wright and the Edward J. Greene Award for the Advancement of Sound will be presented to Tomlinson Holman, CAS. The Student Recognition Award winner will also be named and receive a $2500 prize.

About the Cinema Audio Society
The Cinema Audio Society was formed in 1964 for the purpose of sharing information with Sound Professionals in the Motion Picture and Television Industry.
