‘Better Call Saul’ tops Writers Guild TV nominations
Better Call Saul topped this year’s Writers Guild Awards nominations, earning a nominations for best drama series, as well as three in the episodic drama category, which were announced on Wednesday.
The Simpsons also grabbed four nominations, in best animation, and freshman shows Ted Lasso and The Great both scored triple nominations in best comedy, new series and episodic comedy.
Other shows that received nominations today included Euphoria, Ozark, The Boys, PEN15 and Awkwafina is Nora From Queens.
Winners will be announced on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at the Writers Guild Awards virtual ceremony along with the film and documentary awards. Feature film nominees will be announced on February 16.
