Casting Society (CSA) Artios Awards Nominations: ‘Hamnet,’ ‘Frankenstein,’ ‘The Naked Gun,’ ‘Twinless’ and More

Casting Society (CSA) announced today the nominations in seven feature film categories for the 41st Annual Artios Awards, where Bugonia, Hamnet, Jay Kelly, Blue Moon and Twinless were among the top films earning mentions.
The nominees for big budget drama are Bugonia, F1, Frankenstein, Hamnet, Marty Supreme and Sinners. For budget comedy we have Jay Kelly, Materialists, The Naked Gun, The Phoenician Scheme, Wake Up Dead Man and Wicked: For Good.
These nominations come ahead of the Academy’s first year of a casting Oscar category, which revealed its shortlist of 10 films, seven of which earned nominations. The Secret Agent, Sirāt and Weapons didn’t make the cut here.
Casting directors with multiple nominations include Douglas Aibel (Jay Kelly, Materialists, and The Phoenician Scheme), Nina Gold (Jay Kelly and Hamnet), Bernard Telsey (Wicked: For Good and Plainclothes) and Jennifer Venditti (Bugonia and Marty Supreme).
The Casting Society also announced its list of honorees for the Artios Awards. The Lynn Stalmaster Award for Career Achievement will be presented to Ayo Davis, the president of Disney Branded Television, while the Marion Dougherty New York Apple Award will be presented to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Emmy-nominated and seven-time Artios Awards-winning casting director Julie Ashton will receive the Hoyt Bowers Award for excellence in casting, with the Rosalie Joseph Humanitarian Award being presented to former CSA administrator Laura Adler.
Three separate ceremonies will see Harvey Guillén (What We Do in the Shadows) as host in Los Angeles, Emmy Award winner Jeff Hiller (Somebody Somewhere) as host in New York and Emmy Award and Golden Globe winner Jessica Gunning (Baby Reindeer) as host of the London ceremony. The ceremonies will be held at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, the Edison Ballroom in New York City and One Moorgate Place in London on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
This year also features a new category for the casting of London Theatre productions. Nominees included the casting directors of The Devil Wears Prada and Titanique.
“This year is especially meaningful as we look forward to the first Academy Award for Achievement in Casting, a historic milestone that emphasizes the lasting influence of casting professionals. Congratulations to all the outstanding nominees whose work continues to elevate storytelling year after year,” said Casting Society president Destiny Lilly.
