Casting Society of America (CSA) Artios winners: ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,’ ‘Knives Out,’ ‘Mrs. Maisel,’ ‘When They See Us’
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Knives Out, Jojo Rabbit, Marriage Story and The Last Black Man in San Francisco were the big film winners at 35th Artios Awards, which honor excellence in casting by the Casting Society of America (CSA).
Game of Thrones won for Television Drama and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel was honored for Television Comedy. When They See Us took the Limited Series award. Pose, Big Mouth and Queer Eye rounded out more of the television winners.
Special honorees included Audra McDonald for the Marion Dougherty New York Apple Award and Andrew Femenella with the Rosalie Joseph Humanitarian Award. Geena Davis received the Lynn Stalmaster Award for Career Achievement and Deborah Aquila was given the Hoyt Bowers Award in Los Angeles.
“Tonight’s three Artios Award ceremonies were a fantastic celebration of the many contributions Casting Society of America members bring to the global entertainment community. We congratulate tonight’s well-deserved winners and honorees,” said CSA president Russell Boast. “We are bolstered by the ongoing advancements made to recognize our craft and will continue our commitment to supporting and advancing the work we do worldwide.”
