Critics’ Choice Movie and Television Award Nominations; Shape of Water tops Film, Feud: Bette and Joan leads TV

The Shape of Water led the 23rd Critics’ Choice Award nominations today with 14, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actress while fellow Best Picture nominees Dunkirk, Call Me By Your Name, Lady Bird and The Post followed with eight apiece.

For television, the top vote-getters were Feud: Bette and Joan with six and Big Little Lies with five. Shut out completely were the ratings hit The Good Doctor and the return of Twin Peaks, one of the biggest critical hits of 2017.

The Critics’ Choice Awards will air on the CW January 11, 2018.
