DiscussingFilm Creative Association Global Film Critics Awards (DFCA): ‘One Battle After Another’ Wins Best Picture

The winners of DiscussingFilm’s Global Film Critics Awards have been announced and One Battle After Another has been named Best Picture among its total of four awards from its 18 nominations. The film also won two for Paul Thomas Anderson for Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay and Chase Infiniti won for Best Breakthrough Performance.
Sinners, which earned 20 nominations, was the winner in Best Original Screenplay, Casting, Score and Horror Feature.
The acting wins went to Timothée Chalamet for Marty Supreme, Jessie Buckley for Hamnet, Stellan Skarsgård, for Sentimental Value and Amy Madigan for Weapons.
Frankenstein was a triple winner for Production Design, Costume Design and Makeup & Hairstyling, while KPop Demon Hunters won two: Animated Feature and Original Song for “Golden.”
