DiscussingFilm Critic Awards (DFCA) Nominations: ‘Oppenheimer,’ ‘Poor Things’ Lead
Oppenheimer and Poor Things lead the 5th annual DiscussingFilm Critics Awards nominations with 14 and 13 apiece, respectively, followed by Killers of the Flower Moon and Barbie also earning double digit mentions at 11 and 10.
Joining those four titles for Best Picture are All of Us Strangers (3 nominations), Anatomy of a Fall (5 nominations), May December (6 nominations), Past Lives (5 nominations), Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (4 nominations) and The Zone of Interest (4 nominations).
Up for Best Director are Martin Scorsese, Todd Haynes, Christopher Nolan, Yorgos Lanthimos and Jonathan Glazer. Best Actress contenders are Sandra Hüller for Anatomy of a Fall, Teyana Taylor for A Thousand and One, Lily Gladstone for Killers of the Flower Moon, Greta Lee for Past Lives and Emma Stone for Poor Things. Competing for Best Actor will be Andrew Scott for All of Us Strangers, Zac Efron for The Iron Claw, Bradley Cooper for Maestro, Cillian Murphy for Oppenheimer and Colman Domingo for Rustin.
