First out of the gate, National Board of Review sets awards date

The National Board of Review (NBR), the oldest film awards organization in the US, will be the first to hand out prizes for films of 2018. They have set November 27th for their announcement.
The group, founded in 1909, hands out awards Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor and Actress, Best Original and Adapted Screenplay, Breakthrough Performance and Directorial Debut as well as signature honors such as Freedom of Expression and Spotlight Award. They also have multiple lists including Top 10 Films (outside of their Best Film choice), Top 10 Independent Films, Top 5 Foreign Films and Top 5 Documentaries.
2018/2019 Film Awards Calendar
Last year, the NBR went in deep on The Post giving it Best Film, Actor (Tom Hanks) and Actress (Meryl Streep). Greta Gerwig won Best Director for Lady Bird, Supporting Actor went to Willem Dafoe for The Florida Project and Supporting Actress went to Laurie Metcalf for Lady Bird. Timothée Chalamet won Breakthrough for Call Me By Your Name. All but Hanks went on to earn Oscar nominations.
