‘Green Book’ Named Best Film of 2018 By Nevada Film Critics Society (NFCS)
Toni Collette and Nicole Kidman tie in Best Actress
The Nevada Film Critics Society (NFCS) announced its 2018 award winners for achievement in film. Taking top honors as best film was Green Book, based on the true story of an Italian American bouncer from the Bronx that is hired to drive a world-class black pianist on a concert tour from Manhattan to the Deep South, circa 1962.
In other major categories, Christian Bale won Best Actor for Vice, and tied for Best Actress was Nicole Kidman for Destroyer and Toni Collette for Hereditary. Richard E. Grant was chosen Best Supporting Actor for Can You Ever Forgive Me? The Favourite won a total of three awards including Rachel Weisz for Best Supporting Actress, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Production Design.

Best Cinematography – Alfonso Cuaron – Roma
Best Visual Effects – Avengers – Infinity War
