Interview: Antoni Porowski (‘Queer Eye’) on his darkest food moments and his obsession with Trader Joe’s [VIDEO]
The Queer Eye boys are back in town!
Austin, specifically.
After production of Season 6 of the hit Netflix show was halted, almost immediately, at the start of the pandemic, the Fab Five have resumed filming just when we might need them the most.
The boys, coming off their first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Competition Program last year, enter back into a world much different than the one they left.
The show, a two-time defending Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program winner, takes place entirely in Texas for its sixth season. It’s a state that, in addition to the pandemic, was also recently ravaged by severe winter storms earlier this year.
From Austin, The Fab Five’s Antoni Porowski chatted with Daniel Trainor and Sam Stone about the added importance of bringing the show to the Lone Star State, his pandemic eating habits, his obsession with grocery stores and why he loves Trader Joe’s.
All seasons of Queer Eye are currently streaming on Netflix. Antoni Porowski is Emmy eligible for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program for season 5.
