Jamie Campbell Bower on the Final Season of ‘Stranger Things’ and the Different Faces of Henry Creel and Vecna [VIDEO INTERVIEW]
There was a lot of pressure for Jamie Campbell Bower when he joined the cast of Stranger Things 4 in the top secret role of Vecna, the series’ big villain. But he fondly recalls the warm welcome he received and the great fun of getting to play such a mysterious part.
In Stranger Things, Bower plays Henry Creel, a young man with telepathic powers who was known as One when locked away as a sort of big brother to Eleven and the other children under Dr. Brenner’s care. Eventually, Eleven sent Henry to the Upside Down where the strange and toxic atmosphere turned him into a monster who would subsequently call himself Vecna.
With the series coming to an end, I recently sat down with Bower to talk about playing the different faces of Henry Creel and being part of one of television’s biggest shows.
The first three episodes of the fifth and final season of Stranger Things are now currently streaming with the following three on Christmas Day with the series finale on New Year’s Eve.
