National Board of Review: ‘One Battle After Another’ Tops in Film, Director, Actor, Supporting Actor; Netflix Lands Four in Top 10

The National Board of Review, the longest running group that hands out film awards, have anointed Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another the best film of 2025, also giving Anderson best director, best actor to Leonardo DiCaprio and best supporting actor to Benicio del Toro, his third win in this very short first week of December. Chase Infiniti won for breakthrough performance.
Rose Byrne (If I Had Legs I’d Kick You) and Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas (Sentimental Value) took home the lead and supporting actress wins while the screenplay awards went to Sinners (original) and Train Dreams (adapted).
